the job:

we are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Senior Manager of Stylist Relations to join our team at amika. in this role, you will be responsible for managing and cultivating relationships with our network of celebrity/macro stylists and haircare professionals, while also driving the growth of our overall stylist community. you will work closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure amika is top-of-mind for stylists + ensure amika’s positioning as a salon brand is clear to consumers.

salary: $120,000 - $140,000 + bonus

location: NY or LA (must be based in + have the right to work in the US)

what you'll do:

• Continuously engage and cultivate long-term, meaningful relationships with amika’s network of stylists (across all creator tiers) to strengthen brand advocacy   
• Act as main point person for amika’s stylist collective, ensuring their satisfaction and continued partnership with the brand. Coordinate product seeding, red carpet styling collaborations, events, and content + photoshoot deliverables. Collaborate with Education + Events team on coordinating stylists’ schedules 
• Support the Senior Director on management and execution of amika’s mid-tier + micro professional influencer communities, including discovery, contract negotiation, strategic briefing, creative approval, and performance reporting. Heavy focus on TikTok and Instagram partnerships that support overarching brand and marketing initiatives  
• Work cross-functionally with amika’s social media, professional marketing, education, integrated media, and brand marketing teams to fuel departmental needs and ensure that stylist selection, messaging and deliverables are aligned with brand goals   
• Collaborate closely with Director of Professional Marketing on strategies to build brand love +  advocacy with stylist community, clearly bringing to life amika’s professional marketing efforts + resources 
• Partner with Integrated Media team to brief + review creator content from trade media partners, ensuring content meets brand + industry best practices 
• Contribute to detailed monthly and campaign-specific reports for stylist initiatives, tracking KPIs and providing actionable insights for cross-functional teams  
• Proactively conduct ongoing stylist discovery research and recruitment to ensure continued growth of multiple stylist community groups based on marketing objectives   
• In partnership with Senior Director + Director of Professional Marketing, plan + execute stylist events, pop-ups, and activations + represent the brand in a professional way.  
• Stay connected with best practices, emerging social media platforms, strategies, and industry standards related to influencer marketing, public relations, and social media and how they can connect to overall brand strategies   

must haves:

• 6-8 years of experience working in influencer marketing, ideally at a professional haircare brand  
• Proven track record of strong results   
• Strong familiarity with Tribe Dynamics, Octoly, or similar tools
