Description
Healthcare Therapy Services is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant to lead our therapy team at a continuing care retirement community located in Bluffton, IN (Wells Co.). Offering a diverse caseload from multiple levels of care, this community has merited a Five-Star Rating from Medicare. Therapy gym has ADL kitchen and bathroom.
This is a Lead Therapist position so the OTA in this role will treat patients for a majority of work time while also performing Lead Therapist responsibilities such as attending facility and team meetings, following up on therapy referrals, planning minutes and reporting any issues to Regional Director.
Candidates for this position will be very dedicated and pro-therapy, ready to take charge and encourage caseload growth.
This position offers the flexibility to choose between working Full-Time or Part-Time.
Choose the work experience that suits you best!
• Full-Time: Supplement hours by treating at a second facility, with compensated drive time and mileage between locations.
• Part-Time: Lead duties and treating at the primary building.
Position Details:
· Competitive hourly rate.
· Lead Therapist position.
· Full-Time: 30–40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday.
· Part-Time: Up to 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Requirements
Applicants must have an active Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license. These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assisting program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
