Position Summary: The Samsung Digital Health Lab’s Clinical Verification and Validation team works cross-functionally with hardware, software, algorithm, and clinical partners to complete complex human studies for a wide range of Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) applications. As an intern, you will be working hands-on with the execution of these studies as well as analyzing data and delivering results. You will also help identify areas of improvement and implement technical solutions to help improve the efficiency of our team.

Position Responsibilities:
- Work onsite daily with the Clinical Team to help execute study protocols for Mobile/Wearable Applications
- Identify areas of improvement within Clinical Team processes and execution and implement solutions
- Work with cross-functional teams to procure, monitor, and analyze data
- Assist with study device setup
- Assist in lab device management and organization
- Collect human subject’s data using wearables/medical devices under an IRB approved protocol
Required Skills:
- Currently pursuing a degree in STEM or life sciences field with an interest in clinical research (Public Health, Psychology, Pre-Med, Mathematics, , Biomedical engineering)
- Familiarity with Matlab, Minitab or other statistical software
- Knowledge of wearables and sensor technology
- Experience in data analysis, statistical calculations and data presentation
- Demonstrated ability to identify and solve technical problems
- Ability to communicate ideas with cross functional team and senior leadership
- Familiarity with MS Word, Excel

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
