This re-posted position provides senior-level administrative and technical support to the leadership of the Academic and Student Affairs (ASA) division of Pine Technical and Community College. The position is a key facilitator of related business processes and provides first point of contact assistance to internal and external stakeholders for the ASA Division and Records Department.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills sufficient to write, prepare, and edit materials such as memos, procedures, reports, presentations, etc., using correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and sentence construction and clearly explaining complex technical ideas and procedures to varied technical and non-technical audiences.
Customer service skills sufficient to actively listen to and understand customer needs and provide accurate information and appropriate alternatives in a timely, thorough, courteous, respectful, and professional manner in person, over the phone and in writing.
Knowledge of current data entry procedures, including filing and storage, and verification of accuracy before entering.
Demonstrated experience and high aptitude in using technology, including office productivity applications (MS Office, enterprise calendar and e-mail, file sharing and document collaboration) and presentation/meeting technology such as PowerPoint, videoconferencing, teleconferencing.
Database and spreadsheet skills sufficient to create and track reports.
Preferred Qualification
Associate degree in related field, and/or relevant and recent work experience.
General knowledge of higher education policies and procedures related to admission, financial aid and registration functions.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and take the initiative to do a job without regular help and advice from others.
Knowledge of College, Minnesota State, Federal, State and local laws, rules, policies and procedures pertaining to student data privacy and admissions.
Demonstrated knowledge of and share the college’s interest in diverse cultures and populations.
