Job Information
The Student Media Center is seeking a student in good standing that is able to work 10-15 hours a week Monday-Thursday.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop
- Basic knowledge of WordPress
- Previous graphic design experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Designing print and digital advertising
- Designing parts of The Daily Mississippian
- Designing the Rebel Guide (like a magazine)
- Creation of sales materials
- Creation of other promotion materials related to the Student Media Center or its news outlets (Rebel Radio, NewsWatch, The Ole Miss yearbook)
- Design and create the layout of the Daily Mississippian weekly for editorial, placing all the ads.
- Work with the DM and SMC social media editors on social media ads, work on special publications and other duties as needed.
