Service Quality Assurance Tester, PreSonus

We are searching for a Service Quality Assurance (QA) Tester based in Baton Rouge, LA. The Service QA Tester is responsible for testing customer-owned products before they are released to return to the customer. The Service QA Tester will also be responsible for general warehouse duties pertaining to inventory maintenance, receiving, order fulfillment, and shipping.

What you'll do: 

• Perform thorough quality assurance testing of customer-owned product returned for repair prior to release for shipping
• Perform firmware and software updates on customer-owned product as required
• Assist in record keeping of warranty and non-warranty customer repairs
• Assist in receiving, order fulfillment, packaging, and shipping product and repairs
• Assist Sales department in preparing for trade shows and other events
• Assist in inventory management including but not limited to: stocking shelves, monthly cycle counting and reconciling
• Operate narrow-aisle forklift including loading and unloading trucks
• Assist US Service Manager with other duties as assigned

What you need:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent related experience work preferred
• Prior experience with audio equipment (mixers, speakers, interfaces, DAWs) preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain detail-oriented
• Must be able to maintain a professional and positive demeanor when working with all PreSonus team members
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, and/or walk.
• Prior warehouse experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and under pressure handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Work is performed while standing, sitting, and/or walking in a warehouse setting
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
• Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
• Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching overhead and other similar movements for long periods of time
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights up to fifty (50) pounds
