Maintenance Technician Hummelstown

We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team in the Hummelstown, PA area.

 

Earn $20/hour with benefits, or earn $22/hour with the selection of the Enhanced Pay Option.

 

Position Description

This position encompasses responsibility for all facilities management activities and repairs. 

• Become familiar with the policies and procedures that is associated with Merakey. Comply with these policies and procedures in carrying out all aspects of the job. 
• Be directly responsible and report to the Supervisor.
• Comply with work schedule. Call the program to report absence or lateness of work.
• Attend periodic staff meetings and mandatory in-service trainings.
• Assume on-call coverage for emergency maintenance responsibilities.
• Perform desk and furniture repair.
• Perform wall and ceiling tile repair.
• Perform electrical repairs.
• Perform plumbing repairs.
• HVAC experience.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 Years experience in a Maintenance Technician role.
• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Demonstrates the ability to seek out supervision for clarification of issues and to assist with problem solving/ decision-making.
• Experience in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry.
