As a Principal Technology Strategy, you will research and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the relationship between Fiber Broadband technology (current and future) and the rest of AT&Ts business through understanding of one or more key technology domains (IT, network connectivity, media/content technology, etc.)

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leveraging strong technical evaluation skills, including the ability to interpret disparate, complex information into a range of alternate futures (i.e. scenario planning).

• Utilizes research skills and quickly evaluates competitive and industry dynamics with respect to (technical and economic) impacts by new and different Fiber Broadband technology/technologies.

• Leverages standard corporate strategy frameworks and applies analysis from a technical perspective. Integrates both technical, strategic, and financial Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis into a synthesized set of hypotheses and conclusions.

• Distills core components of complex problems into succinct and easily understood set of key decisions and conclusions.

• Demonstrates confidence and poise in presenting hypotheses, conclusions, and recommendations to senior management.

 

Required Experience:

• 8 - 10 years’ experience.

 

 

Desired Education:

• Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; or equivalent experience preferred.

 

Our Principal Technology Strategy earns between $143,800 - $215,800 annually.  Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
