Assistant Manager

<p><strong>Overview&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>The Assistant Manager is a strong communicator and motivational agent whose main role is to assist the Store Manager in achieving the company goals. This person thrives working in fast-paced environments where creative problem-solving skills and priority focus are critical components to effective operations and successful execution of the role.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Job Summary&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the daily business&nbsp; operations of the store including supervising employees, communicating with and helping customers, and carrying out directives given by management. This person drives execution by inspiring and motivating employees to ensure store profitability and efficiency.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist the Store Manager in exceeding determined sales plans and metric objectives</li> <li>Ensure consistent execution of company’s visual presentation standards</li> <li>Set up displays and arrange merchandise to promote sales&nbsp;</li> <li>Train staff on how to drive sales through consistent development, product knowledge, systems, and customer service standards&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain proper inventory controls, facilitate inventory counts as guided by management&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure store complies and follows safety and security guidelines and protocols</li> <li>Assist Store Manager with supervising employees according to the Company’s Employee&nbsp; Handbook and following the store’s standard operating procedures&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrate accountability by providing constructive feedback to employees&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure all operational store processes are properly executed</li> <li>Communicate with Store Manager on overall effectiveness of employee and store&nbsp; performance and provide recommendations and solutions</li> <li>Assist with store events and store sales</li> <li>Act as a backup to the Store Manager&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist with Monday office hours and any other tasks assigned by store manager</li> <li>Assist with omni-channel sales and fulfillment process</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills, Abilities &amp; Requirements&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 1-2 years experience managing in a similar role</li> <li>Abide to available and agreed schedule&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to work retail hours including weekends and holidays</li> <li>Excellent verbal communication skills</li> <li>Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to work with indi
