ATM-Debit Card Specialist 1

Job Summary

The ATM-Debit Card Specialist 1 is responsible for performing operational support duties of the ATM-Debit Card Department.  Assists ATM-Debit Card Management as directed; monitors ATM status and currency usage.  Performs a variety of routine daily tasks; reviews reports, prepares correspondence; participates in special department projects. 
 

Essential Duties

• Must be familiar with ATM and Debit Card State and Federal regulations, Card Association and Network Rules & Regulations, Department Policies and Procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of client privacy.  
• Performs client-related duties, including but not limited to the following:

1. Accepts reports of lost or stolen Debit cards.
2. Processes requests for new Debit cards.
3. Processes requests to close or block Debit card accounts.
4. Processes changes to accounts in the event of death, ensuring appropriate documentation are retained by the Bank.
5. Processes requests for additional cards and/or accounts and requests for increases of daily Debit card ATM and/or Point of Sale limits
6. Adding or deleting cardholders.
7. Prepares, reviews and processes Synapsys Referrals and Service Events within the established service levels.

• Monitors systems to ensure all ATM’s are online and processing transactions.
• Open work orders via email with ATM servicer.
• Reviews and works non-posted items. 
• Receives and works phone calls and the ATM-Debit Card Department email box to ensure all requests are processed within the stated service levels.
• Must be multi-tasked oriented.

Complies with all State and Federal Banking regulatory requirements, including but not limited to: BSA, Anti-Money Laundering OFAC, CIP, Financial Elder Abuse Reporting, Sexual Harassment, Information Security and privacy requirements.  This position will elevate suspicious activity to supervisory staff and/or BSA department.  Completes compliance and other technical training workshops as assigned.

Officer Title Eligibility 

For qualified positions, the Bank may designate Officer Titles to employees who meet defined competencies for an eligible position. This position is not eligible for an Officer Title.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred candidate should have 2-3 years of banking experience.
