Job Summary

Solventum is seeking a Financial Analyst for the Health Information Systems Division located in Salt Lake City, Utah. At Solventum you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter. The person hired for this position will have an excellent opportunity to support the Clinician Productivity Solutions business within HIS. The position offers a unique chance to work within Solventum only software division in a 150M+ business unit.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Financial Analyst in the Health Information Systems Division, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Providing financial counsel to business leaders in a $150M+ business unit
  • Collaborating cross functionally with development, legal, product, security, and marketing teams to launch new products and drive execution of the strategic plan
  • Driving effectiveness and accuracy around month end reporting and close efforts
  • Working as a financial partner to the BU Director
  • Being a key voice during the operating planning, strategic planning & quarterly financial estimates

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND two (2) years of finance and/or accounting work experience

OR

  • High School/GED from and accredited institution AND six (6) years of finance and/or accounting work experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Desire to make change and drive value
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Ability to learn multiple IT systems quickly
  • Solid accounting knowledge, specifically revenue recognition
  • Experience in using PowerBI and building visualization dashboards
  • Experience in using enterprise forecasting solutions
  • Ability to work well in a team setting and drive results towards a common goal

Work location:

  • Remote

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
