Accounting and Payroll Specialist

The Accounting Specialist will work under the Accounting Manager, assisting with maintaining and recording the books and accounts of the company and clients. This role is critical for managing the transactions and bank activities that the business is concerned with.

What you'll do:

Manage Accounts Payable, including but not limited to researching purchase order discrepancies, reconciling vendor statements and assisting with entering invoices.
Manage the payroll process, including processing payroll, verifying payroll data, and ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees.
Communicate with employees and managers regarding payroll-related inquiries and issues.
Daily reconciling of bank accounts and credit cards to ensure activity is captured in accounting software.

Assist Accounting Manager with month-end, including assisting with reporting inquiries and posting journal entries
Act as a backup for Accounts Receivable when main contact is out of office
Assist with other accounting and finance functions as needed.

What you'll need to succeed:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
2- 5 years' experience in accounting required
Prior experience with Sage Intacct required
Prior experience with ServiceTitan is a plus!
Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
