What Will You Do As A Senior Stagehand?
- Work collaboratively with entertainment agencies and internal stakeholders to execute best-in-class programming with strong guest appeal.
- Efficiently operate with a critical eye to deliver a quality product safely.
- Support initiatives to keep all equipment in good working condition.
- Accurately perform show operation tasks during performances as required.
- Assist with sound, lighting, video, wardrobe repair work, quick change dressing, stage management, and rigging duties as assigned.
- Additional shift assignments may include working with high-reach equipment, forklifts, and other large mechanical tools
To Be Successful As A Senior Stagehand, You’ll Need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree or comparable experience in technical theater is preferred.
- Experience in large-scale concert venue load-in, set-up, show operation, and take-down.
- Knowledge of industry standards with familiarity with the theatrical disciplines.
- Experience with a variety of equipment including but not limited to audio consoles, lighting consoles, video cameras & switchers, and chain hoists.
- ETCP certification (preferred).
- Scheduling flexibility to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 51 - 60 pounds.
Level II Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years with lighting, sound, video, rigging, properties, wardrobe, deckhands, etc.
- Must be able to obtain industry certifications deemed necessary for the role.
Level III Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience with lighting, sound, video, rigging, properties, wardrobe, deckhands, etc.
- Must be able to obtain industry certifications deemed necessary for the role.
- Training certifications for specific fields, i.e. Rigging, Lighting, Audio.
