Job Description

As a Warehouse Supervisor you will oversee daily management of the people, processes and tools needed for warehousing products and initiate and facilitate area business and process improvements in support business targets.

• Initiate and facilitate area business and process improvements in support business targets
• Analyze department workload and schedule requirements to develop execution plans, including manning and support personnel requirements and resource planning
• Communicate objectives, status and other issues as necessary, i.e. regular scheduled team meeting
• Support/implement performance management system including identification and achievement of goals
• Ethically protect company resources and best interest
• Establish safety procedures to assure a clean safe work environment is promoted and maintained
• Manage resources in support of safety, quality, delivery, engagement, and cost
• Develop, maintain, and improve positive employee relations
• Coach and develop an entry-level workforce that has a primary focus of assembly and packaging

Maximize the utilization of warehouse resources while ensuring the expected level of customer satisfaction is met or exceeded.

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience should be one of the following:

• 4-year Degree PLUS 2 years of leadership experience  
• 2-year Degree PLUS 5 or more years of leadership experience  
• 10+ years of leadership experience without a degree 

Skills & Qualifications should include:

• Experience with warehouse and distribution processes
• Have experience with Continuous Improvement tools & methods (preferred)
• Must be proficient in Microsoft applications
• Experience with SAP preferred
• Must have understanding of project management
• Ability to give presentations (formal and informal to both direct labor and executives)
