Your mission is to facilitate total alignment across Product, Engineering, and QA teams, ensuring that every solution we build is traceable, scalable, and perfectly aligned with our business goals.

What you’ll do:

  • Elicit requirements using interviews, workshops, observations and document analysis.
  • Write clear, concise, and testable requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Model processes, data and system interactions (e.g., process flows, UML, sequence diagrams) to clarify scope.
  • Maintain and manage a single source of truth for requirements and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prioritize requirements in collaboration with product owners, stakeholders and delivery leads.
  • Support backlog grooming, sprint planning and refinement sessions in Agile environments.
  • Drive change-control for scope adjustments and manage requirement versioning.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to validate feasibility and design implications.
  • Partner with QA to define test cases, support test execution and validate acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate UAT and capture stakeholder sign off.
  • Ensure requirements meet regulatory, security and performance constraints where applicable.
  • Communicate status, risks and impacts to stakeholders in a timely, straightforward manner.

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • Demonstrated experience (typically 3+ years) in requirements elicitation and documentation for software or systems projects.
  • Previous Fiserv experience required, specifically Fiserv applications and Mainframes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and facilitation skills.
  • Proven ability to produce testable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices and working with product owners and development teams.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or requirements management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Professional Certifications: Industry-recognized certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional).
  • Matrix Leadership: Experience driving project efforts and coordinating resources within a large, matrixed organization.
  • Modeling Expertise: Advanced skills in visual modeling tools to represent complex system architecture.

How you’ll work:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

Travel:

  •  Approximately 10-20% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.

Benefits at Fiserv:

  • Fuel Your Life program to support your physical, financial, social, and emotional well-being
  • Paid holidays and generous time away policies
