POSITION SPECIFICS
The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Humanities in Hershey, PA is seeking a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator - Advanced Professional to manage a series of research studies including clinical trials in Hospital and Medical ICU settings. The project portfolio will include both NIH and industry funded studies. This position will support research programs related to medical decision making, communication, behavioral interventions, and industry-sponsored trials in hospital or intensive care settings. Specific duties include but are not limited to:
Management of a series of research studies including clinical trials in the hospital and/or Medical ICU. The project portfolio will include both NIH and industry funded studies. The role involves managing the complete study life cycle from enrollment through closeout.
Supervision and management of project coordinators/or project managers who are responsible for the individual Hospital and/or Medical ICU studies, including training and maintaining fidelity and rigor of procedures across sites
Coordinate and assist with comprehensive data operations across multiple Van Scoy laboratory studies, including data collection, organization, transcription of audio recordings, database development, data cleaning, and query resolution in collaboration with statistical team
Track comprehensive study metrics, analyze progress data, deliver detailed status reports during bi-weekly tea
