What You’ll Do
Position Summary
This role supports the Medical Director of Provider Performance by providing structured chart review, documentation support, and provider education to advance high-quality, value-based care. As the organization grows, the position exists to expand capacity for provider evaluation, education, and program development to ensure consistent clinical quality, strong documentation practices, and scalable value-based care delivery across the provider group. This is a non-patient-facing role focused on retrospective and concurrent chart review, documentation support, education, and program development rather than direct clinical care.
Responsibilities
Essential responsibilities consist of but not all inclusive:
- Review clinical charts for completeness, accuracy, and documentation quality to support high-quality patient care and value-based care standards.
- Identify gaps in clinical documentation and appropriate problem identification to improve clinical clarity, care planning, and continuity of care.
- Support the development and delivery of provider education sessions to strengthen clinical reasoning, documentation quality, and value-based care practices.
- Create, update, and maintain educational materials and clinical learning resources for physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to support ongoing professional development.
- Support onboarding and training initiatives for new providers to ensure alignment with clinical standards, documentation expectations, and value-based care principles.
- Assist in the development of clinical tools, workflows, and learning resources to support provider performance and clinical quality improvement.
- Perform additional duties related to clinical education, documentation support, and provider development as assigned to support organizational goals.
