The Opportunity: 

Culinary Administrative Assistant

 

Who We Look For: 

We are looking for an individual who can help support our Food & Beverage, Culinary back-of-house department who has hospitality and administrative experience. You will perform administrative duties supporting the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef within our culinary kitchens. In this role, you will also provide additional support functions to their supervisor including, but not limited to typing, menu printing, seamless data input, handling managers incoming and outgoing mail, answering phones and providing additional general office and resort assistance when needed. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Type correspondence, reports, composition of letters, and memorandums; open, examine, sort, incoming mail and when appropriate gather information necessary for response; take and distribute departmental and divisional meeting minutes. 

  • Maintain files, schedules, and calendars for management members of the Food & Beverage Division; coordinate, set and confirm interviews and appointments. 

  • Assist in completing special projects which may include mailings, competitive surveys, menus or other assigned duties; maintain and order office supplies. 

  • Maintain policy and standard manuals; update and distribute as necessary. 

  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

  • Flexible, cooperative, able to multi-task, and a team player.  

  • A positive and professional attitude is necessary.  

  • A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers. 

  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently. 

  • Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions. 

  • High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team.
