Client Care Associate (Seasonal/ Part Time) Dennis, MA Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists is seeking a seasonal, part-time Client Care Associate to join the team in our Dennis, MA, location. About this roleThe Client Care Associate is the first and last impression of Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists, which impacts the client’s overall experience. The CCA is an invaluable member of the team who communicates with the clients, works with the medical staff to facilitate emergency and specialty appointments, provides information to the referring veterinary community, and manages financial transactions. This position is client-focused but may involve some veterinary assisting tasks, including patient restraint and running bloodwork. The Client Care Associate will
- Greet and check in clients for emergency and specialty appointments in a polite, professional, and timely manner.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Occasionally assist doctors in appointments, run blood work, and assist the medical team in completing appointments when appropriate.
- Perform record keeping, such as scanning, and documentation in the electronic medical records
- Provide estimates and invoices for payment.
- Take deposits and process payments at checkout.
- Send medical records to referring veterinarians.
- Direct client calls to the appropriate department in a polite, professional, and timely manner
- Maintain a clean lobby and front desk area.
- Respond to clients with compassion and empathy in stressful and emotional situations.
- The salary for this position is $17-$18 hourly
- Schedule This is a part-time, seasonal position that includes swing and weekend shifts.
- The initial training schedule may differ.
- There is a holiday shift rotation
- Uniform allowance
- More than 1 year experience in the veterinary hospital as a technician, liaison, or CCA
- This position may be open to the right person who expresses a genuine desire and is eager to learn.
- Sufficient computer experience (Word, Excel) and the ability to learn various veterinary software programs.
- Ample experience and knowledge of office and computer technicology, including payment terminals
- Basic math skills to determine proper deposits and process payments.
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks appropriately.
- Confidence in themselves, in their abilities, and in their team
- Excellent clear communication skills
- Veterinary assisting skills to help medical staff in appointments, including restraint and running bloodwork.
- Must be professional, pleasant, and engaged.
- Must be attentive and demonstrate an elevated level of respect to referring veterinarians, clients, and co-workers.
