The Opportunity
Adobe’s Experience & Engagement Learn team is looking for a Digital Imaging Category Lead that will develop and drive the instructional content strategy for Adobe’s digital imaging (Photoshop) family of products, scaling our tutorial library on Adobe’s learning website, www.adobe.com/learn.
You’ll work closely with engagement and retention, product go-to-market, product marketing, app product management, and community partners to develop a content roadmap to meet user needs and business goals through engaging instructional content sought at developing learners’ skills.

We are looking for an experienced content leader with expertise in instructional design, talent sourcing, and content development processes to ensure high-quality tutorials and learning courses can be created and delivered on schedule.
You are creative, collaborative, dedicated, and have a knack for developing strong cross-functional partnerships across a matrixed organization. You know how to keep a pulse on creative photography trends and topics while understanding the pace of our business to deliver relevant content in support of key business moments.
What you’ll do
As the Learn Digital Imaging Category lead, you’ll be responsible for keeping your content roadmap on schedule and within budget, evaluating content performance and library health, and recommending content improvements, clean-up or innovation based on data-driven insights.
You’ll also partner with cross-functional content partners to create cohesive content journeys and avoid content redundancy.
- Create quarterly content plans to be reviewed and approved with Head of Experience and Engagement Content Strategy & Learn Content.
- Source instructional content creators to deliver against planned editorial calendar and Learn content standards.
- Create own content as able or interested.
- Interpret content performance data to distill content effectiveness insights, inform future content investments, and recommend content lifecycle actions.
- Have an informed perspective on how generative AI can augment content workflows and scale instructional strategy across a learning ecosystem.
- Host partner alignment meetings to review category content strategy and priorities, identify areas for collaboration & co-planning, receive intake and feedback requests, and communicate roadmap and content publication updates.
- Partner with self-publishing client teams to assess how their learning content fits within the broader Learn category library.
- Ensure all content database records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Provide content status updates to Learn Content Program Manager and participate in program management processes for seamless execution of content projects.
- Support strategic programs and experience improvements prioritized by the Learn Program and product roadmap.
- Work without close supervision but seek out and welcome feedback from senior leaders and managers.
What you need to succeed
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in English, Instructional Design, or related studies
- Proven experience with instructional content development, editorial planning, or enterprise publishing
- Validated ability to lead, guide, and coach content creators
- Excellent structural editing, verbal communication, and creative problem-solving skills
- Deep knowledge of the digital imaging and photography creative domain and related community
