The Venue

Gregory Hills Hotel is a vibrant hospitality venue known for our lively atmosphere, premium dining, and exceptional service. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to join our leadership team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our venue.

About the Role

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of all hotel operations, including food and beverage, compliance, staff management, and guest experience. Working closely with the General Manager, you will play a hands-on role in ensuring service standards are met, coordinating front and back-of-house teams, and supporting the ongoing success and reputation of Gregory Hills Hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations across bar, bistro, and gaming areas
• Drive and maintain a strong customer service culture with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff to deliver consistent service excellence
• Monitor and manage budgets, cost control, and stock levels
• Ensure compliance with licensing, WHS, and RSA requirements
• Lead by example with a hands-on management style, including resolving operational challenges on shift
• Work with the General Manager on strategic planning, promotions, and events

About You

• Proven hospitality management experience, ideally in pubs or hotels
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop teams
• Knowledge of financial reporting, rostering, and cost controls
• Current RSA and RCG certifications (required)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work a flexible roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
