This is a Data & Analytics Engineering position at the Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for providing specialist data analysis and expertise that drive decision-making and business insights as well as crafting data pipelines, implementing data models, and optimizing data processes for improved data accuracy and accessibility, including applying machine learning and AI-based techniques.

The candidate must be a self-starter, who can lead the squad and work under general guidelines in a fast-paced work environment. Overall minimum 15 years of experience in cloud (AWS / Azure) data engineering along with traditional Datawarehouse experience (ETL). Experience in designing and building data pipelines using IBM DataStage, Informatica Powercenter/IICS and or Hadoop is a must.
What you’ll do in the role:
Design and develop moderate to complex data pipelines for reusability using Hadoop frameworks and Informatica Powerbuilder or Intelligent Cloud (IICS).
Experience integrating data to/from on-Premise databases and cloud-based database solutions using Informatica intelligent cloud services
Experience working with traditional on-premise databases including Oracle, Sql Server and Teradata.
Knowledge of various components of Hadoop ecosystem and experience in applying them to practical problems
Develop SQL logic in various flavors, including SparkSQL, Teradata, or Snowflake
Ability to acquire, compute, store and provision various types of datasets in Hadoop platform.
Perform offline analysis of large data sets using components from the Hadoop ecosystem.
Prepare and validate end to end business logic and mappings.
Prepare unit test cases, test data and perform unit testing for the jobs developed
Use standard version control tools to check-in and perform code reviews with Data Integration SME
Use standard CI/CD pipelines to roll and deploy the code.
Resolve all technical issues raised during SIT/UAT/ Warranty phases
Prepare root cause corrective action document for the ETL issues.
