Data & Analytics Engineer III - Associate

This is a Data & Analytics Engineering position at the Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for providing specialist data analysis and expertise that drive decision-making and business insights as well as crafting data pipelines, implementing data models, and optimizing data processes for improved data accuracy and accessibility, including applying machine learning and AI-based techniques.

The candidate must be a self-starter, who can lead the squad and work under general guidelines in a fast-paced work environment. Overall minimum 15 years of experience in cloud (AWS / Azure) data engineering along with traditional Datawarehouse experience (ETL). Experience in designing and building data pipelines using IBM DataStage, Informatica Powercenter/IICS and or Hadoop is a must.

What you’ll do in the role:

• Design and develop moderate to complex data pipelines for reusability using Hadoop frameworks and Informatica Powerbuilder or Intelligent Cloud (IICS).

• Experience integrating data to/from on-Premise databases and cloud-based database solutions using Informatica intelligent cloud services

• Experience working with traditional on-premise databases including Oracle, Sql Server and Teradata.

• Knowledge of various components of Hadoop ecosystem and experience in applying them to practical problems

• Develop SQL logic in various flavors, including SparkSQL, Teradata, or Snowflake

• Ability to acquire, compute, store and provision various types of datasets in Hadoop platform.

• Perform offline analysis of large data sets using components from the Hadoop ecosystem.

• Prepare and validate end to end business logic and mappings.

• Prepare unit test cases, test data and perform unit testing for the jobs developed

• Use standard version control tools to check-in and perform code reviews with Data Integration SME

• Use standard CI/CD pipelines to roll and deploy the code.

• Resolve all technical issues raised during SIT/UAT/ Warranty phases

• Prepare root cause corrective action document for the ETL issues.
