About the role
The Cardiovascular Technician performs diagnostic procedures that include exercise stress testing, 24-hour ambulatory electrocardiography, non-invasive vascular testing, and electrocardiogram editing.
The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required. Requires HS diploma or G.E.D.
Graduation from a cardiovascular technician, certified nursing assistant, or medical assistant program preferred.
Availability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting.
Strong computer skills preferred.
Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date. Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency. Why Mayo Clinic
