About the Role:

The Marketing team at PitchBook is critical to fueling the company’s growth by utilizing a variety of strategies to support our Sales and Customer Success departments grow and retain our client base. The Marketing team is responsible for all demand generation efforts by executing engaging campaigns, effective product marketing strategies and attending client and trade-show events. The marketing team is also responsible for promoting the PitchBook brand and managing internal communications. This role will report into the Sr. Director, Segments and Campaigns, aligned under the Revenue Marketing organization.

The Director, Revenue Programs is instrumental in driving new business and customer demand through hyper-targeted growth, expansion and retention campaigns by customer segment across all product offerings. This core leadership role is responsible for developing and managing the orchestration of demand programs and campaigns, focused on capturing and nurturing leads across multiple channels. This position requires a savvy marketer who wants to continually test, learn, lean on the data and collaborate across functions to find new and innovative ways of reaching our target audiences, building pipeline and expanding revenue. The ideal candidate is a SaaS, demand generation expert who is highly analytical and can operate at both the strategic and tactical level while leading a team to pipeline-based metrics.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner cross-functionally with Segment, Content Strategy and Business Operations leaders to develop segmented program strategy; ideate and concept hyper-targeted campaign strategy to support audience-based pipeline goals
  • Develop and implement demand generation strategies and campaigns for the designated customer segment(s), working with cross-functional channel partners to ensure the right mix of activity and messages to achieve lead targets
  • Manage and support campaigns team to effectively and efficiently build tactical plans to achieve lead and pipeline conversion targets; ensure collaboration is at the core of planning and deadlines are achieved across functions to hit slated go to market timelines
  • Manage demand generation engine, across segmented programs and campaigns, to fuel pipeline growth for specific customer segment(s) for new business, expansion and retention across all product offerings
  • Support product go to market launch and release efforts; partner with Segment Managers to prioritize launch efforts for specific audiences, while developing and running always-on launch campaigns to drive awareness that converts to pipeline
  • Build and maintain evergreen campaign nurture sequences to ensure consistent inbound and outbound touchpoints across customer lifecycles, focusing on highest revenue opportunity
  • Work closely with Segment leaders to understand shared pipeline goals across sales and customer success; refine campaign strategy as needed to achieve revenue targets via leads and opportunity conversion
  • Operationalize campaign go to market process; build and manage the Demand Gen engine to an efficient sprit process, balancing between net new campaign kick offs and ongoing, in market, optimizations
  • Utilize data-driven decision making to drive growth through demand marketing initiatives, including qualifying and accelerating leads, optimizing the demand generation funnel and refining accountability, attribution and reporting
  • Continually dive into analytics; report out performance (such as leads, conversions, revenue) and forecasts to leadership on regular basis
  • Build and maintain close partnerships with the broader Marketing organization (web, digital, marketing ops, program management, content strategy) to best leverage available channel mix and partner on decisions to achieve target KPIs
