Reporting to the VP of Direct to Consumer, the Photo Studio Supervisor is responsible for scheduling, prioritizing, and managing ecommerce image assets. Additionally, the supervisor will lead the organization, efficiencies, and inventory of the sample room.
The expected salary range for this role is $61,000 - $75,000. This is based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is also eligible for the Fanatics Commerce annual bonus program
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises and prioritizes photo studio projects daily, weekly, and monthly based on e-commerce and other online due dates.
- Collaborates with internal and external partners including on expected deliverables.
- Monitor company sales orders to ensure all styles are shot in a timely manner.
- Manages Sample Coordinators to prep samples for photo shoots and photo renders.
- Correspond and communicate with internal and external partners regarding image asset deliverables and due dates.
- Communicates and provide full visibility with the e-commerce team and Photo Studio on all photo studio projects.
- Partner with the PLM team to locate tech packs to render product images.
- Organize and prepare Dropbox image links to send to internal and external partners.
- Manages Dropbox and Digital Asset Platform consistently.
- Recap completed images on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Incremental projects are to be added on an ad-hoc basis.
- Liaise with the photo studio team regarding future projects, photography needs, and priorities.
- Asset QC - makes sure all files are consistent and high quality.
- Keeps track of deadlines and communicates any time constraints or issues to internal and external partners.
- Supervises the organization, uploads, and names all files, and ensures that product samples have met the Mitchell & Ness prerequisites for going live on E-Commerce websites.
- Manages the sample tracker to provide production visibility to interdependent teams.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related work experience with a strong emphasis on asset management preferred.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
General Duties and responsibilities include:
- 2+ years of experience with assets management.
- Experience with working in a high-production studio of photographers and photo editors.
- Basic user-level understanding of spreadsheets.
- Great organizational skills due to the high volume of assets.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive interdepartmental collaborator.
- Demonstrates a high level of quality work and attendance.
- Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
- Demonstrates a high level of energy and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
