Production Associate

The Production Associate position works on the production  line and can be assigned to various stations

Essential Functions

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Production Helper.

Inspects baked bread as it passes by on the conveyor. Upturn any loaves that have turned over or have fallen on the side. Reject any damaged or defective bread. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect effect on product safety, legality and/or quality. Must be flexible in other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Loading or unloading pan trays onto the conveyor or off the conveyor 
• Places trays with dough into the bins that are placed in the proof boxes
• Moves or removes carts of trays off the production floor or onto the production floor
• Checks the bread and separates and removes product not meeting quality standards
• Places finished, wrapped product onto tray bins and stacks them to allow the shipping department to remove and load
• Gathers and empties trash of dough and bread
• Maintains a clean work space free of crumbs and slip/fall free
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned 

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older 
• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Customer Service Experience 
• 1 yr of similar work experience
