Join Aprio's Advisory Team team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Associate: Aerospace, Defense and Government Services, M&A and Strategy to join their dynamic team.
The Aprio ADGA practice (formerly Nextfed) is seeking a Senior Associate to join its growing Management Consulting and Merger and Acquisitions advisory business within the Aerospace, Defense and Government Services market.
ADGA is a growing advisory practice focused on helping Private Equity, and strategic clients make profitable investments in the defense, aerospace, and national security markets. We are a small and tight-knit team with backgrounds in management consulting, government services, corporate strategy and marketing, and venture capital. We benefit from a robust network of highly experienced subject matter experts and advisors. Our clients are some of the most established private equity firms and Fortune 500 defense and aviation OEMs. We pride ourselves in well-established, long-term relationships with our customers based on consistent performance, and a partnership approach. We have a flat hierarchy and supportive team culture, with room for advancement and stretch opportunities.
We are looking for a professional with an entrepreneurial mindset, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, is open to early exposure to C-suite clients, and has an interest in the aerospace, defense, and national security markets.

Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on company financials, market size and growth trends, customer positioning, product/service portfolios and competitive dynamics
- Evaluate organic and inorganic growth opportunities in the U.S. government and aerospace markets
- Assist in developing financial and market models
- Create presentations for delivery to C-Suite leadership and investment professionals
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience working for a management consulting firm, investment bank or in a corporate strategy, M&A or business development/capture role in the aerospace, defense and government sectors
- Bachelors in a relevant field
- Demonstrated ability to build conduct financial projections and market models in Excel (Advanced Excel)
- Experience analyzing and forecasting US government budgets and/or commercial aerospace market trends
- Proficiency developing clear, concise and persuasive PowerPoint presentations used for strategic decision-making
- Excellent presentation skills and client-facing disposition
