Job Duties:
This position provides the administrative/secretarial support to the Office of Long Term Care facilities by maintaining and tracking for the Office of Long Term Care Facilities Licensure Unit within the Division of Public Health.
Ensures the timely and accurate processing of applications for initial licensure, change of ownership, and annual license renewals for Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Nursing Facilities (NF) and Assisted Living Facilities (ALF) in Nebraska.
In addition, this position is responsible for Public Records requests, redaction and posting of the SNF/NF and ALF survey results, 2567's (Statements of Deficiency) and POC (Plans of Correction). This position helps to collect data and monitor that the Office of Long-Term Care Facilities is meeting the prescribed Federal performance standards.
Qualifications / Requirements
At least one year of post high school coursework or experience in: administration, office management, accounting, finance, planning, policy analysis and implementation, administrative/management analysis, operations research, program evaluation, research, or similar fields or in a field related to the programs or functions of the employing agency.

Knowledge, skills and abilities
Requires experience in administrative/secretarial support; Microsoft Office, email systems, and internet searches; ability to design/maintain databases and produce reports' strong organizational and communication skills. Must be detail oriented and able to follow written procedures accurately. Experience with current NE DHHS systems (ACCESS).
