Head of Finance

Overview

We are hiring on behalf of an ambitious, fast-growing international company looking for a remote, part-time Head of Finance. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced finance leader to take ownership of strategic financial operations, reporting directly to the CEO.

You will lead all aspects of financial planning, cash flow forecasting, monthly reporting, internal controls, and risk management — while collaborating closely with leadership to drive financial success.

What You'll Do

• Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and 13-week rolling cash flow planning
  
• Deliver timely, GAAP-compliant monthly financial statements (in collaboration with the bookkeeper)
  
• Monitor cash flow weekly and advise on reserve targets
  
• Design and implement internal controls and finance policies
  
• Flag financial risks early and proactively suggest solutions
  
• Maintain accurate reporting for EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) Scorecard metrics
  
• Own and execute quarterly financial goals ("Rocks") aligned with business growth
  

Performance Goals

• Forecast Accuracy within ±5%
  
• 100% On-time monthly reporting (by the 10th)
  
• Up-to-date 13-week cash flow forecasts
  
• 100% proactive red flag reporting
  
• Timely policy implementation (within 30 days)
  
• Strong internal leadership satisfaction (8+/10 score)
  
• Quarterly goal bonuses ($200 per completed Rock)
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior finance roles (experience in startups or SMEs highly preferred)
  
• Strong expertise in FP&A, financial controls, and cash flow management
  
• Comfortable working with GAAP standards and collaborating with bookkeepers
  
• Familiar with EOS, ClickUp, or Ninety.io (a plus, not required)
  
• Clear communicator and confident decision-maker
  
• Must have your own reliable high-speed internet and working equipment
