The Director-Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness is an enterprise-level leader responsible for architecting the organization’s coaching strategy, assessment philosophy, and organizational effectiveness ecosystem. This leader integrates industry best practices to build system-wide frameworks, governance structures, and operating models that strengthen organizational health, leadership capability, and team performance at scale and drive talent and business outcomes. The Director provides strategic leadership to the organization’s Organizational Development and Talent Management consultants/advisors, ensuring methodological rigor, discipline and alignment across Organizational Development, specifically in organizational health, organizational design, coaching strategy, and assessment practices. Operating as a thought partner to senior executives and HR leaders, this leader ensures that organizational effectiveness interventions are integrated, evidence based and positioned to advance enterprise priorities.

Reports to: Vice President-Organization Development and Talent 

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

  • Advanced degree in organizational psychology, leadership development, behavioral science, or related discipline required.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Leadership Development, or related fields required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in coaching strategy, assessment science, and organizational design required.
  • Experience leading or providing strategic direction to OD, OE, or Talent Management consultants/advisors required.
  • Proven ability to influence senior executives and lead enterprise level strategy in a complex, matrixed organization required.
  • ICF coaching certification (PCC or MCC preferred) or equivalent coaching mastery preferred.
  • Experience managing external coaching vendors and assessment providers preferred.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience using assessment and organizational health data to inform strategy preferred.
  • Familiarity with the technology sector or similarly dynamic, high complexity environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build frameworks, governance models, and scalable systems preferred.
