This Intern position will be part of DNV’s Digital Solutions Electric Grid team to support both local projects (Online video classes, assist in customer webpage). This internship is projected to start in Summer of 2025

The position will be a dynamic hybrid schedule where employees will typically spend three (3) days per week working from the Corvallis, Oregon office which creates and supports software for electric utilities.  Further details regarding role-specific requirements will be shared during the interview process.  As a summer intern, you'll help keep the lights on while learning a lot.  Join us on our journey to making world class software.

What You'll Do

  • Learn and apply DNV methods to improve business performance, focusing one or more of the following:
    • Develop online self-guided class – Review and assist in production of class segments, and user tutorial content for our industry-leading asset performance management software solution
    • Work on new internal/external webpage – Review and help the construction and development of a new customer-centric web page to improve the customer experience.  Getting feedback from stakeholders to make changes. 
    • DNV uses a 70-20-10 approach to education, so you will learn from experiences, lectures, and being mentored by experts in the industry.

What is Required 

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Digital Media Design, Digital Media Communications, or a related field like graphic design or web design.
  • A passion for the company’s objective to safeguard life, property and the environment
  • Strong technical skills and interest in software user assistance 
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Experience with video creation and editing
  • Experience with Markdown markup languag
