About the role

The Senior Labor Relations and Workforce Compliance Consultant serves as a strategic partner and provides guidance to employees and leaders within the organization. This position is critical in supporting operational leadership with managing the labor relations spectrum including collecting, analyzing, and reporting data related to labor relations, including grievances, disputes, request for information, NLRB, etc.). The Senior Labor Relations and Workforce Compliance Consultant will provide essential support to the Director of People Operations in maintaining labor compliance and developing strategies for the organization. The role will develop and execute equitable, proactive, business aligned plans that help build and support Seattle Children's (SC's) commitment to People Operations initiatives, this includes designing and implementing a systematic and comprehensive proactive employee and labor relations strategy. The Senior Labor Relations and Workforce Compliance Consultant analyzes information, integrates critical thinking, and partners with People Operations team members to design and deliver strategies focused on Labor and employee relations, compliance, employee engagement, talent management, total rewards, and workplace investigations. The Senior Labor Relations and Workforce Compliance Consultant plays an essential role in establishing and driving People Operations programs/talent initiatives forward within specific company functions, while always ensuring they align with a company's business objectives.  This role relies on developing effective consulting relationships, business literacy, data analysis, change management principles in the development and implementation of initiatives.

  

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business or related degree, or equivalent experience. At least five (5) year’s of Human Resources and Labor Relations experience, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated knowledge of, and skill applying, local state, and federal laws.

Required Credentials
N/A

Preferred
Master's degree in business or related field. Experience working in a large, complex healthcare organization and/or growing research operation. Experience working in a union environment or applicable Master's level degree in labor relations. Healthcare of Experience

Compensation Range

$118,174.00 - $177,262.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
