In this crucial role, you're not just working on data solutions; you're contributing to a sustainable future, shaping innovative paths for renewable energy and making a tangible impact on our planet. Be a part of our mission to lead the energy revolution, where every project you touch helps forge a cleaner, greener world.</p> <p> </p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Create the design and implementation of a cutting-edge data environment, utilizing the Azure tool stack, Databricks, and other appropriate technologies to set new standards in data management and analytics. </li> <li>Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to harmonize, optimize, and ensure the reusability of data across the organization, driving efficiency and innovation. </li> <li>Work collaboratively with a skilled team to explore and integrate modern data technologies and methodologies, contributing to the establishment of a state-of-the-art data framework. </li> <li>Ensure agile practices are integral to our development and deployment of data solutions, making our processes adaptable, swift, and resulting in top-notch outcomes.. </li> <li>Serve as a subject matter expert in data architecture and engineering, providing guidance and support to the organization, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous learning. </li> <li>This role is not just about building a data environment; it's about laying the foundation for our company's future, enabling us to lead the way in renewable energy through innovative data utilization and management. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A completed university degree in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field. </li> <li>5+ years of experience working within a data environment, with a strong emphasis on Azure tool stack. This should include hands-on experience in architecting, developing, and managing data solutions. </li> <li>Practical experience with Databricks, showcasing your ability to leverage such tools for data processing and analytics. </li> <li>A deep understanding of best practices in data management, including data harmonization, storage, and distribution. This includes knowledge of data quality, data integration, and data security principles. </li> <li>A track record of successfully working in data-related roles, with a preference for those who have led projects or teams focusing on the creation and management of data environments. </li> <li>Familiarity with database technologies, data warehousing, and data modeling, underpinned by practical experience in relational databases and data analysis. </li> <li>Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly comprehend complex issues, demonstrating an independent, proactive approach to problem-solving. </li> <li>The ability to articulate complex data concepts in a clear and understandable manner. </li> <li>Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of German or other languages is a plus. </li> </ul> <p><br/>  <br/> <br/> <a href="https://www.rwe.com/en/rwe-careers-portal/" target="_blank">rwe.com/career</a><br/> <br/> Apply now with just a few clicks: ad code 85908, application deadline 29/03/2024.<br/> Any questions?
