Assistant Director of Undergraduate Studies (ADUGS); Assistant Professor of Instruction

Description

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Rochester invites applications for an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Studies, with the rank of Assistant Professor of Instruction to augment the Department's very successful undergraduate program.  The Department graduates approximately 100 majors/year and offers a broad range of undergraduate courses to many other students.  The Assistant DUGS will, through a variety of activities, help the Director of Undergraduate Studies support the instructional mission of the Department.

Qualifications

A Ph.D. in Mathematics and two or more years of postdoctoral teaching experience required; evidence of excellence in teaching; and the documented superior organizational skills and experience needed to help manage a large major and broad undergraduate program at a STEM-intensive institution.
