Job Description

As a Security Professional – Hospital Vaccine Patrols in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents, while you provide exceptional communication and customer service. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including supporting evacuation procedures and/or providing information to emergency personnel.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences according to site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions, provide directions, and/or offer assistance as needed within the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work in hospital environments, including areas such as morgues.
• Must be able to safely restrain individuals as required in a hospital setting.
• Must comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
