Job Description

Licensed Practical Nurses are responsible for the following: ​

  • Performs designated direct patient care activities to meet patient care needs

  • Actively seeks measures to promote patient safety and satisfaction in all aspects of patient care demonstrating accountability and responsibility for performance consistent with hospital and departmental standards.

  • May perform clerical functions to support departmental operations, including but not limited to contacting physician offices to facilitate appropriate and complete chart reservation and monitoring quality initiatives.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

The qualifications for this position include:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing and passed the Pennsylvania Board Association for Licensed Practical Nurse

  • State Issued LPN Licensure required

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required   

  • Shift/Hours: Full Time, Evenings - 36 hours weekly

  • This position is located at Jefferson, Abington
