We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Preventative Maintenance Dispatcher to join RSC Mechanical! In this role, you’ll be a key player in ensuring smooth communication and operations between our customers, technicians, and management. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves to problem-solve, and enjoys multitasking, this is the job for you!
What You’ll Do:
- Handle high-volume phone calls, emails, and dispatch queues professionally and efficiently.
- Create and manage service tickets with clear, accurate documentation.
- Prioritize and dispatch tickets to technicians based on urgency and availability.
- Juggle multiple systems (spreadsheets, GPS tools, customer portals) and stay on top of everything.
- Keep technicians and management updated on job progress, addressing critical issues when needed.
- Close out jobs and activate billing once completed.
- Help manage daily workflows and reassign tasks as necessary to keep things moving smoothly.
- Work closely with service managers and the PM team to schedule technicians and coordinate access to stores.
- Review PM checklists to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Upload information into customer portals accurately and in a timely manner.
- Stay organized and productive, even when working independently or with minimal supervision.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), with an eye for detail and professionalism.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter who takes initiative and can think on their feet.
- Solid computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Google Docs.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain positive working relationships with technicians and the team.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in dispatching or customer service is a plus but not necessary!
