The Boeing Company is seeking a Trade Control Senior Manager – Import/Export Administration to join our Global Trade Controls team in Arlington, VA.

This position will serve as a trusted advisor to the rest of the Global Trade Controls organization and partners regarding the interpretation and application of export control regulations to their statement of work.

Position Responsibilities:

Licensing and Policy Management Senior Manager Role

• Manages team of export licensing reviewers and trade compliance subject matter experts

• Assists Licensing, Policy, Sanctions, and Compliance Director lead the engagement with USG/trade associations on export/policy matters

• Provides US export controls regulatory guidance (subject matter expert) within the company

• Leads the development/management of export licensing templates, checklists, and guidance

• Reviews export licenses, as needed

• Supports other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 10+ years of experience in the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

• 10+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• 10+ years of How many years of experience writing trade control authorities/export-import licensing

• 10+ years of experience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 10+ years of experience managing or leading people or teams

• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment and an eagerness to build relationships

• Experience using lean and/or simplifying and improving business processes

• Experience collaborating internally and externally to achieve business objectives

Summary pay range: $141,950 - $192,050
