What this job involves:
The Assistant Facility Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Facility Manager to deliver comprehensive property operations and maintenance services. This position serves as a key liaison between JLL and clients, focusing on customer service excellence, financial management, facility maintenance coordination, and supplier relationships. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining strong client relationships while supporting the achievement of corporate real estate goals and objectives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within facility management while contributing directly to JLL's reputation for operational excellence and client satisfaction across diverse property portfolios.
What your day-to-day will look like:
• Maintain and enhance client satisfaction through exceptional delivery of facility management services and support programs
• Monitor and support compliance with JLL audit standards, operational policies, and procedures while tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Collaborate with account teams to drive development and implementation of Integrated Facility Management (IFM) best practices and innovations
• Support work order management for in-house staff and vendors, ensuring efficient coordination and completion of maintenance requests
• Manage facility soft services including meeting preparation, conference room reservations, food services, parking, vending, and badging systems
• Implement and monitor hazard control and safety practices while ensuring compliance with local codes, regulations, and JLL operational standards
• Assist with procurement and supplier management activities to support overall facility operations and client objectives
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of two years of relevant industry experience in corporate environments, third-party service provider roles, or consulting positions
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong computer proficiency and managerial capabilities
• Proven ability to multi-task and effectively organize responsibilities to achieve portfolio goals and objectives
• Basic knowledge of building systems including mechanical and electrical systems
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with facility management software and work order systems
• Knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) monitoring
• Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management
• Understanding of soft services operations in corporate environments
• Experience with client relationship management in professional services settings
• Knowledge of hazard control and safety management systems
• Previous exposure to Integrated Facility Management (IFM) best practices
