Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity within the location, reporting concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and client staff to maintain a secure environment within the aerospace and defense location.
• Remain alert to changing conditions and communicate any concerns or incidents to supervisors and/or emergency responders as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
