We are seeking to add a Bottling Operations Associate to our team. This role helps ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of our bottling line. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment where accuracy and teamwork drive success.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Bottling Operations
- Operate and monitor bottling line equipment including fillers, cappers, labelers, case packers, palletizers, depalletizer, case former, partition inserter, and conveyors.
- Assist with line changeovers, setups, and adjustments to all bottling equipment to accommodate different product formats.
- Validate and ensure accurate labeling, fill levels, closures, and packaging meet quality specifications.
- Monitor line efficiency, minimize downtime, and report any equipment or process issues promptly.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety guidelines at all times.
- Assist with end-of-shift flush and CIP on all lines.
- Ability to accurately gauge bottling tanks.
Mechanical Responsibilities:
- Assist maintenance team with routine equipment maintenance (lubrication, adjustments, cleaning).
- Assist maintenance team with equipment changeovers.
Forklift Operation & Inventory Control:
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move raw materials, finished goods, and bottling supplies.
- Stage materials for production runs and ensure timely delivery to the bottling line.
- Accurately track and manage inventory levels of finished goods and dry goods.
- Perform inventory transactions in the inventory management system.
Quality & Safety:
- Conduct line checks and inspections to validate and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Complete required documentation (production logs, downtime reports, maintenance records, quality inspections, etc.).
- Adhere to company safety policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with BRC and food safety standards.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred.
- Must have completed at least 580 hours of work onsite for O'Neill as a temporary employee.
- 2+ years of experience in bottling, packaging, or manufacturing operations (wine, beverage, or food industry preferred).
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing production equipment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret manuals and SOPs.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
