Position Overview
Our healthcare client is seeking an experienced Epic Certified Principal Trainer (PT) with expertise in ASAP and Stork to support a large-scale Epic training initiative. This engagement will focus primarily on delivering instructor-led end-user training during an intensive classroom training period running from late August through October.
While there may be occasional Principal Trainer responsibilities such as curriculum updates, training material enhancements, and tip sheet creation, the primary focus of this role is hands-on classroom instruction and end-user readiness. The client is seeking highly professional trainers who excel at engaging learners, facilitating adoption, and ensuring successful knowledge transfer across clinical and operational teams.
The engagement begins in July with remote onboarding, credentialing, and project preparation activities before transitioning to onsite training support.
Contract Details
- Contract engagement
- Start: July (remote onboarding and credentialing)
- Classroom Training Period: Late August through October
- Approximately 8 weeks of onsite training delivery
- Travel required
- Onsite support at multiple healthcare locations
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Epic end-user training in classroom and hands-on learning environments.
- Facilitate engaging instructor-led training sessions for clinical and operational staff.
- Provide workflow-based education and practical system instruction to support user readiness.
- Support learner adoption and reinforce best practices related to Epic workflows.
- Answer participant questions and provide real-time guidance during training sessions.
- Collaborate with project leadership, operational teams, and training teams to ensure a successful training program.
- Participate in training preparation activities, including credentialing and onboarding requirements.
- Modify existing curriculum materials and training documentation as needed.
- Create and update tip sheets, quick reference guides, and supplemental learning materials.
