CDL Class A Driver (Yard Attendant)

Perricone Juices, a citrus juice supplier located in Vero Beach, Florida is looking to hire a CDL Class A Driver/ Yard Attendant (Home Daily) to join our team!

Position Overview: As a Driver/Yard Attendant, you will play a vital role in our operations. You will be responsible for transporting materials and products, maintaining yard organization, and ensuring safety compliance. This position requires a valid CDL Class A license and proficiency in operating forklifts.

• Pay: $23 + $500 SIGN ON BONUS!
• 3:00 PM- 11:30 PM - 6 DAYS A WEEK
• Holiday work may be required based on production needs

Key Job Duties:

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods to and from designated locations.
• Load and unload materials using a forklift and other equipment.
• Maintain yard organization by arranging and storing materials appropriately.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while on the road and in the yard.
• Assist with inventory management and record-keeping as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient yard operations.

Requirements:

• Individual must possess a valid Class A CDL license and a current DOT physical
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, write, and speak English, plus perform basic math
• Works well independently and with a team
• Able to withstand a cold and non-climate-controlled environment
• Driving Experience of at least 1 year
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL license and a current DOT physical
• Tanker Endorsement (Preferred)
• Successfully pass pre-employment screenings including a drug screen

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
