Position overview:

The Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS), Bureau of Professional and Ancillary Services is seeking to hire a detail-oriented individual to serve as the Universal Billing/Specialized Programs Unit Manager in the Institutional Billing and Payment Support Section. This position will direct the Hospital, Hospice, Renal Dialysis, Ambulatory Surgical Treatment Center, Birthing Centers and Specialized Programs relating to the Statewide Universal Billing Program. Additionally, the position will conduct complex projects as well as assist with policy development for the section.

 

The ideal candidate will possess medical billing knowledge and excellent communication, skills with a depth of administrative knowledge and experience in the field of management or public policy. It is imperative that the successful candidate possess organizational skills, analytical skills utilizing Data Warehouse, writing skills, and extensive leadership and management skills.
