👩⚕️ Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who have:
- 🩺 Hands-on Tracheostomy and Ventilator experience (REQUIRED)
- 🧒 A genuine heart for children and their families
- 📄 An active Florida RN or LPN license (or multi-state, where applicable)
- 🤝 Strong communication skills, sound clinical judgment, and reliability

As a Pediatric Home Care Nurse with Family First, you will:
- Deliver life-sustaining care to pediatric patients in their homes
- Build meaningful, long-term relationships with children and families
- Help kids thrive safely outside of hospital walls
- Provide skilled nursing care, medication administration, and ongoing monitoring
- Educate patients and caregivers on care needs and equipment
- Collaborate with physicians and your clinical team to adjust care plans as needed

🎓 Qualifications
Required:
- LPN/LVN Nursing Degree
- Unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of employment or multi-state license (where recognized)
- 1+ years of nursing experience
- Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance (in applicable states)
- Clear background screening
- Working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts
- Valid and current CPR card/certificate with in-person, hands-on skills check
- Clear Hep B and TB screening (as required by state)
Preferred:
- Previous pediatric and/or home care experience
- Comfort working independently in the home setting
State-specific requirements (e.g., additional screenings in PA, onboarding Hep B in IL) apply as required.
🧰 What the Role Looks Like Day-to-Day
- Provide nursing care within your scope of practice
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Continuously evaluate and adjust care based on patient and family needs
- Communicate changes in condition to physicians and your nurse supervisor
- Mentor and support new team members during patient-specific orientations
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities as requested
- Maintain patient and family confidentiality and uphold
