👩‍⚕️ Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who have:

• 🩺 Hands-on Tracheostomy and Ventilator experience (REQUIRED)
• 🧒 A genuine heart for children and their families
• 📄 An active Florida RN or LPN license (or multi-state, where applicable)
• 🤝 Strong communication skills, sound clinical judgment, and reliability

As a Pediatric Home Care Nurse with Family First, you will:

• Deliver life-sustaining care to pediatric patients in their homes
• Build meaningful, long-term relationships with children and families
• Help kids thrive safely outside of hospital walls
• Provide skilled nursing care, medication administration, and ongoing monitoring
• Educate patients and caregivers on care needs and equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and your clinical team to adjust care plans as needed

🎓 Qualifications

Required:

• LPN/LVN Nursing Degree
• Unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of employment or multi-state license (where recognized)
• 1+ years of nursing experience
• Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance (in applicable states)
• Clear background screening
• Working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts
• Valid and current CPR card/certificate with in-person, hands-on skills check
• Clear Hep B and TB screening (as required by state)

Preferred:

• Previous pediatric and/or home care experience
• Comfort working independently in the home setting

State-specific requirements (e.g., additional screenings in PA, onboarding Hep B in IL) apply as required.

🧰 What the Role Looks Like Day-to-Day

• Provide nursing care within your scope of practice
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Continuously evaluate and adjust care based on patient and family needs
• Communicate changes in condition to physicians and your nurse supervisor
• Mentor and support new team members during patient-specific orientations
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities as requested
• Maintain patient and family confidentiality and uphold
