About the opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our team at MYERS INDUSTRIES, INC. in Littleton, CO. In this role, you will operate machinery to manufacture cabinets for our customers. This is a full-time position working on the 1st shift.
What you'll get to do:
- Operate machinery to manufacture cabinets, ensuring quality and precision
- Set up and adjust machinery according to production schedules
- Monitor and maintain machinery, performing routine maintenance and reporting any issues
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery, preferably in a cabinet manufacturing setting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
- Familiarity with safety guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
