Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ADAS Data Acquisition & Analysis Fellow to support our vehicle testing and data analysis efforts. This Fellowship offers hands-on experience in the development and validation of advanced driver assistance systems. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of ADAS technologies, experience with Vector tools, and strong skills in Python and data analytics.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and execution of ADAS vehicle testing activities
- Set up and validate measurement systems and data logging tools for in-vehicle testing
- Collect, process, and organize test data from various sensors and systems
- Perform analysis of test results to identify trends, anomalies, and performance metrics
- Support the engineering team in documenting test procedures and findings
- Collaborate cross-functionally with software, hardware, and test teams
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Education-Required:
- Applicants must be rising seniors in a Bachelor's or Master's program, currently enrolled Ph.D. students, or recent graduates who completed their degree within the past six months.
- Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
Skills:
- Experience with in-vehicle data acquisition systems
- Knowledge of sensor technologies (camera, radar, LiDar)
- Familiarity with test environments and driving protocols
- Familiarity with ADAS technologies (e.g., Lane Centering, Assisted Lane Change, etc.)
- Experience with Vector tools (e.g., CANape, CANoe)
- Proficiency in Python
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
In San Jose, California, the hourly rates for this role are based on level of education:
Undergraduate (Junior or Senior): $35/hour
Graduate (Master's): $38/hour
PhD: $42/hour
