Job Description:

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

CSSP QA Tester: Provides testing support for CSSP systems, testing capabilities that are maintained by Operations and End User services. Verifies that software updates do not impact USSTRATCOM operations. Develops processes and checklists for testing and validating the operational status of CSSP infrastructure systems and services. Ensures CSSP services are tested in accordance with applicable policies and industry best practices. Simulates real-world hacker tactics to identify exploitable weaknesses. Identifies potential security risks and prioritizing them based on their impact and likelihood of occurrence. Documents identified vulnerabilities, creating detailed reports for security teams, and tracking remediation progress. May write scripts for automated security testing.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Technical training (or equivalent experience), 3+ years of experience
• Security Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
• Required Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation; Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC
• Location: Offutt AFB, NE

The likely salary range for this position is $106,857 - $144,571. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
