JOB TITLE: Preventive Maintenance Technician
Job Summary
· Performs preventative and routine maintenance of abatements equipment, per
· documented procedures.
· Manages the PM schedule and coordinates activities with tool owners.
· Follows all safety protocol, pre and post maintenance activity
· Disassembles equipment and pump exhaust lines for cleaning and decontamination.
· Prepares contaminated parts and coordinates cleaning activities
· Reinstalls cleaned and or new replacement parts and assemblies.
· Performs system start-up and post maintenance testing.
· Maintains maintenance logs and completes all required documentation.
· Creates, modifies and updates excel, word and PowerPoint documents.
· Ability to perform helium leak checks after performing on-site repairs and preventative maintenance
· Maintains clean work areas, tools and toolboxes
Job Requirements
- Ability to support compressed work, 3 day/4 day/week rotation, 12 hours/day.
- 1-2 years of Mechanical or Electrical experience
- Ability to read and understand technical procedures and instructions.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from supervisors and managers.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time and to walk long distances.
- This position will come in contact with chemicals. The use of aprons, face shields and specialized gloves will be required. (All PPE and training provided)
- Ability to utilize all required personal protective equipment including potential use of respirators.
- Ability to pass required drug screening and background check
- Minimum high school diploma required.
