Job Summary

Majesco is seeking a highly experienced Senior Lead Business Analyst to join our Policy System team. This role requires deep expertise in Property & Casualty insurance policy administration platforms, with strong proficiency in interpreting and implementing ISO rating and statistical plan circulars. The Senior Lead BA will provide functional leadership across product enhancements and client implementations, ensuring regulatory compliance, business accuracy, and alignment between stakeholders and delivery teams. This role carries ownership of functional design direction, requirement governance, and mentoring of junior analysts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and interpretation of ISO circulars, rating methodologies, and statistical plan manuals to determine business and system impacts.
• Own end-to-end requirement management from discovery through sign-off and validation.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirement elicitation sessions, and functional design discussions.
• Provide functional leadership in defining rating logic, coverage configuration, underwriting rules, and end-to-end policy lifecycle workflows.
• Oversee documentation of BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity, traceability, and completeness.
• Conduct gap analysis between business requirements and policy system capabilities, recommending functional solutions.
• Ensure statistical plan compliance, validation rules, and regulatory reporting requirements are accurately captured and implemented.
• Serve as the primary functional point of contact for clients during system implementations and product updates.
• Support SIT and UAT cycles by defining test scenarios, validating functional outcomes, and guiding defect resolution from a business perspective.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior Business Analysts, reviewing deliverables and maintaining documentation standards.
• Establish and maintain functional governance practices, including requirement traceability and change management controls.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Delivery, Architecture, and QA teams to ensure alignment across the implementation lifecycle.

Qualifications and Experience

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Property & Casualty insurance domain, with strong exposure to policy administration systems.
• Strong understanding of rating logic, coverages, underwriting workflows, and the full policy lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience leading stakeholder workshops and managing client expectations.
• Extensive experience creating and reviewing functional documentation artifacts.
• Experience leading client-facing discussions during system implementations or upgrades.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to regulatory detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Majesco Policy for P&C platform.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Experience supporting multi-state or multi-jurisdiction regulatory implementations.
